Make your own Garden Stepping Stone

Join us to make, create and decorate your own unique stepping stone for the garden. All materials needed will be provided. All you need to bring is patience and imagination. We will be using concrete, beads, rocks, shells and other colorful embellishments. It will be a work of art that you do not want to miss. This is a family activity and an adult must be with children all the time.

Teacup Miniature Fairy Garden

Come join us in making a teacup fair garden in 1/4 inch miniature scale. You will get instructions on how to make a tea garden table set, a fairy, and flowergarden plants and greenery. This class is open to anyone 10 and older – adults welcome.

Behringer – Crawford Museum’s Fossil Dig

Start at the Fort Mitchell Park

Fort Mitchell’s budding archeologists should not miss this exciting program. A specialist from the Behringer-Crawford Museum will meet us at the Fort Mitchell Park (General Ormsby) for a brief introduction of fossils and those found in our area. We will then travel to a nearby fossil dig location.

Everyone needs to provide their own transportation to the site. At the site the specialist will give instructions on how to dig properly and helpful hints to find special fossils. Each person may keep any fossils found.

Beginners: This class is an excellent opportunity for youth to learn t basics of sewing. By the end, you will leave with a pillowcase you made on your own. You will receive supply list on first day of class.

Intermediate: This class is for anyone who feels comfortable with the sewing machine. You will make a pull-on skirt with an elastic back, flat front with pockets. You will receive a supply list on the first day of class.

Drama Camp “Acting Up”

Art Camps 1 : Summer Watercolors

Art Camp 2: Mask-making

Learn about mask-making traditions from around the world and create your own masks too! Sculpt and paint a clay mask with patterns and lots of texture. Create a gauze mask embellished with paint and a variety of materials. Too fun!

Gymnastics Camp

Tumble into lots of fun activities and physical learning for an entire week. Everyone must sign a waiver by a legal guardian in order to participate. Forms are available at registration. It is necessary that we strictly follow these guidelines due to insurance purposes.

Cheerleading Camp

Engineering for Kids: Hero Week

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s……Heroes week! Students will join other engineers their age as they seek ways to protect the world and save mankind in the process. They will join a league of heroes and will compete against other leagues by performing engineering related challenges, such as saving an ecosystem from a potentially lethal oil spill. Only one group will end the week as the ultimate league of super heroes.

Etiquette 101
